Before I took up Dersu in Poland, before I advertised the subject, it was possible to buy Arsenjew’s books for a few zlotys. I myself bought a copy for such a ridiculous price. Years later, thanks to my activity, the prices of these books jumped to a few dozen or even a hundred-odd zlotys. So now this new, two-volume edition – beautifully illustrated, in hardcover – is really reasonably priced at 80 zloty. It is a combination of an adventure book and at the same time a science book with an ethnographic and nature album.

Zanim zająłem się Dersu w Polsce, zanim rozreklamowałem ten temat to książki Arsenjewa można było kupić za kilka złotych. Sam kupiłem egzemplarz za taką śmieszną cenę. Po latach dzięki mojej działalności ceny tych książek skoczyły do kilkudziesięciu, a nawet stu-kilkudziesięciu złotych. Zatem teraz to nowe, dwutomowe wydanie – pięknie ilustrowane, w twardej oprawie – za cenę 80 złotych ma naprawdę rozsądną cenę. To połączenie książki przygodowej i zarazem naukowej z albumem etnograficznym i przyrodniczym. |
