 Citation: 1981 KE. Discovered 1981 May 28 by Z. Vávrová at Klet. Named after an inhabitant of Siberian Taiga and the character from the novel of the same name by the Russian writer Vladimir K. Arsenev. Dersu-Uzala was a member of the Goldy tribe and he became a friend of Arsenev's during 1902-1910. (M 21609) Publikowane w MPC 21609 (Minor Planet Circular) 6 lutego 1993.
